Subcamps
The Kilke Finnjamboree is subdivided into four sub camps having 2000-3000 guides and scouts each. The foreign scouts will be divided to all sub camps. The sub camp leaders in cooperation with approximately ten other leaders will lead the sub camps.
The names of the subcamps are derived from well know Finnish scout personalities, namely Sirkka "Kaleva" Vesikansa, Anni "Tuikku" Collan, Rafael "Raffu" Helanko, Lauri "Lapa" Winter, Helmi "Leivo" Lehtonen and Verneri "Pöpö" Louhivuori. This emphasizes the theme of the camp, the 100 years old finnish scout movement.
The sub camps are divided into villages. Each village has their own kitchen that takes care of feeding aroung 500 scouts. Villages are further divided into sub units called "savu", that accommodates the troops.
