Leader's café Näädänpesä (Marten's Nest) is for leaders who have turn 18. At the café leaders can enjoy good music and events after spending the day doing service tasks.
Maria Nikkari, in charge of the program of Näädänpesä, thinks that leaders need a place for their own, where they can relax without pre-teens. Leader's café is open every night from 7pm to 1am.
Every night there's a different theme. On Friday Näädänpesä had an international night. Among the performers was a group from Senegal. The buffet served fried reindeer and Karelian pasties, which are traditional in Finland.
On Saturday there'll be a hard rock -theme and Jack and the Daniels band performs. On Sunday Näädänpesä will have a stand-up -night. There is open stage for anyone who wants to try stand-up or do improvisation theatre. On Monday after the rover party a dance will take place. A village musician performs at the dance. Tuesday will be quiet as everyone is dancing with headphones on in the silent disco. On the last night On Wednesday there will be a rave with DJ Orion.
Every night there is also a pub quiz and the winners get to take part in the final on Wednesday.
