Three people got burns in a cooker accident

An accident occurred on a hike near the Evo camp area on Friday 30th July at 5.50 pm. Three Finnish scouts got burns when a portable cooker ignited. The two scouts whose injuries were mild were transported to the Kanta-Häme hospital and the camp hospital. The most severely injured scout is being treated in the Töölö hospital in Helsinki. The injured scouts are 13-14 years of age.
A nurse trained with first aid skills gave first aid at the site. The scouts and leaders who saw the accident have been debriefed immediately. The parents of the injured have been informed. No foreign participants were involved.
