HOLA! The nightworkhorses are going again. Yesterday night once more lasted till today. Tarmo’s tango tangled but fortunately, instead of Irma, a charming young man got Tarmo away. Simultanously Irma was sitting moodily on a wet hill together with her wonderful colleagues. HOW DID WE MANAGE TO BE APART????

After several days of camping in this Jamboree with local Finnish scouts as well as international guests, I've learned a lot from this indeed! This Jamboree, "Kilke" is nothing less than brilliant, and everything I've experienced and felt will not be easy to describe in a few words.

On Kilke there's four hikes so that everyone can participate. The hike is called Quite-A-Hike and on every hike there is more than one thousand campers. First ones to take the hike were the campers from the sub camp Kaleva on Friday. I followed one patrol on this hike.

La délégation sénégalaise est très contente de participer au Kilke 2010. Nous pensons avoir apporté notre savoir-faire dans le déroulement des activités auxquelles nous avons participé.

Today is the seventh camp day. The fabulous camp is past its half-way post. The camp is however made special by the fact that every day, there is something new to admire. Today, I observed the enthusiasm of the foreign scouts towards their Finnish friends and the camp.

As Team Leader from The Netherlands I was kindly asked to write some words from this Jamboree, also because I have seen Loisto and Tervas in the last century. But as my brother Reinoud tends to teach me: never compare one camp with the other. So I will not compare these camps, but will for sure we have had some great times then and now.
