Visiting days at Kilke - 31st of July, 1st of August

On the official visiting days family members and friends are welcome to visit the Kilke campsite and the scouts participating in Kilke. It's a good chance to experience the Finnish camp life and spend a day in a unique jamboree atmosphere!
The visiting days at Kilke are divided between the sub camps so that on each day, half of the campers (two sub camps) have no program and can spend the time with their visitors. You may visit the camp on either of the two days, but if you come on the "wrong" day, it's possible that the person you're visiting is unavailable due to camp program.
On Saturday the 31st of July visitors are welcome to visit campers in sub camps Tuikku and Lapa, and on Sunday 1st of August it's time to visit Raffu and Kaleva. The visiting time is from 12 am to 6 pm on both days.
Visiting day fee
The ticket to the Visiting day should be bought at least 24 hours in advance. All the tickets can be bought at Tiketti online booking system. You have two options:
- The normal fee is 20 euros per person; children under the age of 7 can come free of charge. The fee includes a lunch at the camp, guidance material and transportation to the campsite and back with a shuttle bus from the parking lot outside the camp. This is your option if you arrive by your own car, bike or foot.
- If you use a shared transport arranged by Finnish scout districts or troops the price will be 15 euros plus a transport fee. More information will be available at the booking system. This option is mostly for Finnish visitors.
If you are unable to buy ticket in advance you can also buy it at the camp gate for 30 euros. However, we stronly recommend you to buy the ticket from the online system to avoid hold-ups at the gate.
Arrivival options
You may arrive at the visiting day by your own car. All cars will be guided to a parking area approximately 15 km from the camp site. A frequent shuttle bus will take you to the camp area. Take into account that pets are not allowed at the camp site. Traffic jams are highly probably on your way to the parking lot, tune yourself to Kilke radio to listen to a up to date information of the traffic situation.
A second option is to use the shared transport (though this is mostly for Finnish visitors). The shared transports leaves from some major finnish cities and goes directly to the camp site. The details and timetables will be available at the online booking system. Note that for the shared transport you have to reserve your ticket in advance.
If you come to Kilke by bike or by foot navigate yourself directly to Evo.
