Subunit equipment list
On this list are the most important equipment for subunits. The list is made for subunit with 40-50 people in it. If there is more people you might need more equipment.
This list is not the list of equipment all the international visitors should bring with them. Instead you should discuss with your subunit contact person of the equipment you should bring with you. In principle the finnish troops will take care of most of the items here. Expections are tents and program material, those you should deal with you contact person.
Fire safety at the subunit area
If you you use any gas burner or have fire places in you subunit area you have to have a fire extinguisher and a fire blancket. All the burners and fire places have to be inspected by the Kilke fire safety staff. Only inspected fire places may be used during the camp. Also the fire-fighting equipment will be checked during the inspection.
Fire-fighting equipment
- Fire blancket
- Fire extinguisher
Provisioning and water supply
All the food is done in village kitchens and therefore subunits do not need any kitchen equipment or kitchen shelters. Subunits may build a small kitchen for preparing coffee etc. if desired. There won't be a possibility to refill gas bottles during the camp. The kitchen equipment for village kitchens is collected from the troops and is organized by village-kitchen foreman.
You will need few suitable (10-20 litres) containers for drinking water.
There is no possibility to wash dishes at subunits. Dishes can be washed at the village kitchen during the dinnertime.
All sewage should be collected and brough to village kitchen where they can be poured to the sewer.
