Fire safety

The camp area is, at the moment, so dry that a forest fire can be started by the smallest of sparks. If the weather contiunes as it is, we will have to be very careful and follow the instructions below.

• The only fire at the camp should the one in kitchen fire places. All other fires require a special permit from camp fire fighters and such permits cannot be given if there is a risk of forest fire.
• Kitchen shall use special care when handling fire and ashes. Once cooled, ashes are placed in a lidded metal holder.
• Stoves in tents can only be used with permit and proper equipment.
• Smoking is strickly prohibited everywhere expect in the marked areas and with exreme caution.
